Job Summary:

The PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Physics Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality education in Physics to students at the senior secondary level (Classes XI and XII). The teacher must create engaging lessons, assess student progress, and foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore the principles of Physics while preparing them for board exams and competitive entrance exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
  • Plan and deliver effective Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/state board curriculum for Classes XI and XII.
  • Use various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and engage students in active learning.
  • Incorporate practical demonstrations, labs, and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.
  • Prepare lesson plans and assignments to meet the learning objectives and academic standards.
• Classroom Management:
  • Maintain a disciplined and organized classroom conducive to learning.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for students.
  • Manage time effectively to cover the syllabus and provide additional help to students when required.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Design and administer periodic tests, quizzes, and exams to assess student understanding and performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and monitor their academic progress.
  • Prepare students for board exams and competitive exams (e.g., JEE, NEET) by conducting regular practice sessions and mock tests.
• Student Development:
  • Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for Physics among students.
  • Identify and mentor students who need additional support or are performing exceptionally well.
  • Guide students in science projects, physics competitions, and co-curricular activities.
• Communication with Parents and School Administration:
  • Keep parents informed about student progress, challenges, and achievements through regular communication.
  • Collaborate with the school administration, other teachers, and staff to ensure a holistic approach to student education and well-being.
• Professional Development:
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Physics and pedagogical methods.
  • Participate in professional development programs, seminars, and workshops.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s curriculum and teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics) or a related field.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level, preferably in a reputed school.
  • Experience in preparing students for board exams and competitive exams will be an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.
  • Proficiency in classroom management and use of modern teaching tools (smartboards, online platforms, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.

Salary:
