Position Title: HR Manager

Position Overview:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. The HR Manager acts as a key liaison between the employees and management, ensuring a productive, respectful, and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing:
   • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
   • Conduct interviews and manage the selection process.
   • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
   • Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs.
2. Employee Relations:
   • Serve as a point of contact for employee issues, grievances, and concerns.
   • Foster a positive work environment by implementing employee engagement initiatives.
   • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management.
   • Ensure fair treatment and adherence to company policies.
3. Performance Management:
   • Oversee the performance appraisal process and ensure timely evaluations.
   • Work with managers to set performance goals and employee development plans.
   • Address performance issues and create improvement plans when necessary.
   • Monitor progress and adjust strategies to improve team performance.
4. Training & Development:
   • Identify training needs and implement employee development programs.
   • Organize leadership and skill development workshops.
   • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust as needed.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
   • Ensure competitive compensation packages that align with industry standards.
   • Oversee the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
   • Provide guidance on salary benchmarking and employee incentives.
6. Compliance & Legal:
   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
   • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
   • Lead HR audits and implement recommendations.
   • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
7. HR Data & Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate and updated employee records.
   • Analyze HR metrics and create reports for management (turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
   • Use data to drive decisions and improve HR processes.
8. Workplace Safety & Health:
   • Promote workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
   • Develop health and wellness programs for employees.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or professional HR certification (SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
